We are very proud to announce that the first two (2) Master’s thesis in Quds Studies were
completed and defended successfully.
 
1. Azka MADIHAH from Indonesia completed and defended successfully on 29/6/2020 her Master’s thesis entitled “The Implementations of Aman Theory and Model in First Muslim Fatih of Islamicjerusalem (634–644 CE)”.
 
2. Şeyma DOĞAN from Turkey completed and defended successfully on 22/7/2020 her Master’s thesis entitled “Turkish Foreign Policy Towards Al-Quds during AK Party Period: 2002-2019”.
 
This intellectually, unique, innovative and timely inspiring Master programme, which offered for the first time in 2018, at the Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBU) is not only the first taught Master in Turkish Universities but is also the first of its kind in West Asia (Middle East) as well as the whole of the Muslim World. The origin of this field of inquiry dates back to its academic establishment within British Universities nearly two decades ago and currently at Malaysian Universities with the founder of the field Prof. Dr. Abd al-Fattah El-Awaisi.
